In May 2026 we will run a four-week introduction course on Sunday 3, 10, 17 and 24 May. The course provides a structured way to learn the basics, starting from snorkelling underwater, hockey skills, team positions and game play.

On 6-7 June 2026 we will run a special training camp for intermediate / experienced players improve their skill and game play. Underwater Hockey Australia's Coaching Director will come to Adelaide to run this course. Time to level up! All ages welcome - juniors who have played at nationals can attend. Intermediate and experienced players only.

Now that we have a new pool we are ready to hold a competition here in Adelaide. Veterans Open competition for ages 50+ and Masters Women age 35+. Held over the October long weekend 3rd & 4th October at the Adelaide Aquatic Centre. More details and registration coming soon.

Sunday Beginner Sessions are for anyone to come and try underwater hockey and also for developing players to improve their skills. The session usually starts with some basic skills and then we play a slow game with help from a couple of experienced players assisting the beginners. Beginners must complete a Come & Try Registration form before they come. You'll find it on the Introduction page on our website (click below)

Sunday Scratch Matches (all ages) are for everyone including developing players who have attended some beginner sessions and are ready to play full games, and for experienced players who just want to have some fun and not be too competitive. Developing players will be given "red sticks" so the experienced players play gently on you. This is a mix of adults and teens. Safety is a priority so it is not suitable for younger children. Talk to us for clarification!

Wednesday night is our full-on competition night for experienced players. Developing players may be invited to play but warning - there's no mercy! Formal teams are set at the beginning of the season to ensure a well-balanced competition. This is the only underwater hockey competition in the Greater Adelaide area. Starting at 7 pm, there are multiple games in a row, for experienced players only. Experienced visitors are always welcome!
